There are many cross-country bikes trips attempted each year and they're all exciting adventures, yet maybe not that unique… My gut feeling is that our trip may be a first. Who would think to transport golf clubs across the country on their bikes! That's right! We're going to tie down hard-sided golf bags to our bike trailers and head east from San Diego, CA to St. Augustine, FL (home of the World Golf Hall of Fame).

We (Kane Hudson and Glenn Ronning) will play a course in each state we cross until we reach Alabama where we will attempt to play the entire Robert Trent Jones Trail (http://www.rtjgolf.com). The RTJ Trail is a system of golf courses designed by the renowned golf architect Robert Trent Jones. This 'trail' encompasses nearly 400 holes of golf and has been called one of the nation's top golf destinations by Golf Digest. This trip will test our limits of endurance and stamina. In all, we are scheduled to bike over 4000 miles while mixing in over 30 rounds of golf.

The 40 Over Par Tour begins on April 11th 2005.
